Debbi Douglas, known
as Debbi to her family, but as "Princess"
to the band as well as booking agent, motivational
speaker, music director, etc., etc., Debbi began
performing at age 5 and never stopped. She is
the founder of Lipshok and has brought it from
an all original metal band (perhaps you've seen
the original CD Lipshok: Electress at Leopold¨s
in the used "L” section) to the fabulous
party band that it is today.
When Debbi is not throwing down awesome harmonies,
she is hitting hot tennis balls at her day job
as tennis pro at ClubSport Pleasanton. Not only
does she hit hard on the tennis court, she hits
hard from behind a wall of keyboards and allows
Lipshok to serve up vocals like in "You Oughta
Know” by Alanis Morisette and "Rock Steady”
by Aretha Franklin.
When Debbi is not slammin¨ balls and rippin¨ vocals,
she is a busy mom to her 9 nine year old son,
Devin, and 10 year old husband Phil a.k.a. "Chunky,”
bass player extraordinaire and husband. She thanks
her lucky stars every day for such a fulfilling
life and couldn¨t ask for anything more except
for MORE MONEY i.e., the Lipshok price is going
up. Ha!
